What is Lead Management

Lead management is a totality of practices, techniques and tools to manage the communications with potential customers, move them through the sales funnel and to boost the possibility of successful close of a deal.

Lead management is one of the most important business operations concerning growing the customer base and generating additional sales. Lead management means analyzing all the interactions with the leads from the top of the sales funnel – a stage where you identificate leads as your potential clients – to a stage where they become your current customers. Lead management includes also lead qualification, or sales qualification as it is sometimes called.
