What is Lifetime Customer Value (LCV)

Lifetime Customer Value (LCV) is a business metric that shows the overall value customer has brought (or will bring) throughout his customer lifecycle.

Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) is one of the most importnat business metrics as it helps to forecast revenue, understand customer behavior and segment customers by their status and importance for brand, which make it much easier to improve customer retention.
