What is Nuisance Call

Nuisance call is any type of unwanted and unsolicited call, including silent calls, telemarketing calls and scam calls.

Nuisance calls often point to unwanted telemarketing calls from annoying salesmen, but in general, nuisance calls are any calls that are unexpected, unwanted and uncomfortable for call receiver. Thus, even prank calls from friends can be called nuisance calls.
