What is Customer Satisfaction

Customer satisfaction is a customer service metric and key component of customer experience that shows how satisfied are customers with business’s products and services.

Customer satisfaction is one of the most significant customer service metrics, and still, the only way to measure it is to survey customers. Customer satisfaction is often measured by providing customers with a scale from 1 to 10 and question to rate company’s service, product or entire customer experience on this scale. Customer satisfaction is one of four fundamental customer exeprience elements, in one line with customer effort, first contact resolution, and net promoter score.
