What is Outbound Call Center

Outbound call center is a call center that doesn’t receive calls from customers, but performs massive outbound calls to prospective customers or current ones in purpose to sell goods or collect customer feedback, or provide other information;

Outbound call center is sometimes called sales call center, and this term clearly defines the main purpose of such call centers. Outbound call centers are almost always used to do telemarketing by doing massive outbound calling campaigns. In some cases, outbound call centers are used to gather feedback, communicate with current customers or do lead generation.
